A Message from the 2010 Campaign Chairperson

Sonja BrownDear Fellow Federal Employees and Military Personnel:

I am so excited to serve as chairperson of this year’s campaign! The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is to support and to promote philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. Begun in the 1960s by Executive Order, the CFC continues to be the world's largest and most successful annual workplace giving campaign. Each year, more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally help to raise millions of dollars. Last year, together, we unselfishly contributed $1,685,970!

In these tough economic times, the agencies listed in this charity booklet depend on the generosity of US government employees to help fund the services they provide enriching the lives of those in need both locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. I ask that you take a few moments to browse through this booklet and find a charity that is meaningful to you and give what you can. Any amount will help.

I want to thank our campaign workers and all federal and military employees for your devotion and service to our Nation. Your generosity helps improve the quality of life for those less fortunate and serves to invest in our Nation’s greatest resource…our people.

With Sincere Appreciation,
