A Message from the 2008 Campaign Chair

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Your community and the charities you support stand in awe of your generosity. In 2007, your contributions of more than $1.3 Million helped people who live around the corner, across the Nation, and throughout the world. The Central and Northern New Mexico Combined Federal Campaign is the single annual charity drive among Federal civilian, military, and postal employees that allows contributions to approved charities through payroll deduction and is the keystone of philanthropy for more than 1,500 charities. In combination with thousands of Federal employees, your generous giving can provide positive, life-changing transformations for those in need. CNNMCFC is stronger than ever, thanks to you, and that is very good news for those that find themselves in need.

This year's campaign theme is "Carrying New Mexico to New Heights." By making a contribution, by serving as a volunteer, or by giving from your heart to those in need, you elevate the life of those who cannot provide for themselves. Through your selfless actions and overwhelming generosity, you stand behind those organizations working to improve the lives of others. Together, we can reach our 2009 goal of $1.4 Million.

To newer employees and our colleagues who have not yet given, we ask you to “Carry New Mexico to New Heights.” Contribute to the charity of your choice and experience the satisfaction that comes from giving to others. Donating through the CNNMCFC through payroll deduction is a voluntary commitment to make a difference for people and organizations that truly need assistance.

Please give generously. Look for organizations in the 2008 CFC Charity List to find charities that are meaningful to you. You are important to them. Every day you will help Carry New Mexico to New Heights when you help others help themselves.

With appreciation,

Mikel J. Rowley
